The boys track & field team turned in a strong showing at the Plymouth Memorial Invitational on April 4, with multiple athletes earning top-15 finishes against a competitive field.
Leading the way in the sprints, Jay Taylor clocked a 12.83 in the 100m (12th) and added an 11th-place finish in the 300 hurdles (50.37). Elijah Taylor was right behind in the 100m, placing 13th in 12.84, and also delivered a solid 6th-place finish in the 200m (25.67).
In the mid-distance events, Landon Boardwine (2:17.51) and Nick Danczak (2:17.61) went back-to-back with 6th and 7th place finishes in the 800m. Danczak also added a 6th-place finish in the 1600m (5:32.90).
Cameron Parker contributed in the 200m with a 15th-place finish (27.92).
The relay teams competed hard as well. The 4x100 relay team of J. Taylor, Boardwine, Parker, and E. Taylor placed 5th in 48.36, while the 4x400 team of E. Taylor, Boardwine, J. Taylor, and Danczak finished 8th with a time of 4:07.
