25th George Gross Invitational Results

The Patriots track & field team put together a strong showing at the 25th George Gross Invitational on April 14.

Landon Boardwine led the way with an impressive 2nd-place finish in the 800m (2:16.23), delivering one of the top performances of the day. Jay Taylor also reached the top five, placing 5th in the 300 hurdles (48.56).

In the sprints, Elijah Taylor recorded an 8th-place finish in the 100m (11.85) and a 9th-place finish in the 200m (24.90), while Weston Hunger added a 14th-place finish in the 100m (12.61). Zachary Bibb contributed with an 11th-place finish in the 200m (27.10).

Max Sooy showed versatility with a 9th-place finish in the 400m (1:01.69) and added a 13th-place mark in the long jump (15-05.50). Boardwine also contributed in the long jump, placing 15th (12-10). In the distance events, Emerson Pitts placed 13th in the 1600m (6:44.64). In the field events, Cameron Parker secured a top-10 finish in the discus, placing 10th with a throw of 91-06.
